πŸ‘‹ Hi, I’m Bamike

An accountant by training, a creative at heart, and the founder of BTS Creating Wellbeing.

For over 20 years, I worked in finance β€” supporting charities, startups, and infrastructure projects to
manage their resources wisely and build long-term sustainability. I’ve always loved the clarity and order
that numbers bring.But somewhere along the way, I realised something was missing in my life, and
often in the lives of those I worked with.

✨ The Missing Piece: Space

What was missing was space β€” space to breathe, to feel, to express, and to reconnect with ourselves.

Like many people, I had been moving through life on autopilot: productive but depleted, efficient but
disconnected from my own creativity. So I began exploring art, craft, and mindfulness β€”
first as a personal refuge, then as a transformative tool I wanted to share with others.

🎨 From Numbers to Needlework

My well-being journey began with simple things: dress-making, bag-making, sketching.

I wasn’t trying to create something perfect. I was learning to be present, to embrace imperfection, and to enjoy the process.

Over time, I discovered how creative activities helped me:

  • Manage stress and anxiety

  • Find joy in the everyday

  • Feel more connected to myself and others

I trained to teach mindfulness and began leading craft-based wellbeing workshops. Time and again, I witnessed how these gentle sessions helped people navigate:

  • Grief

  • Burnout

  • Anxiety

It’s been a privilege to walk alongside so many incredible individuals on this mindful and creative journey.
